Macron lives in France. His English is still far superior to that of potus and his wife.

Macron knows how to use flattery with trump to get what he wants. We'll see what happens.
Her English is fine. She most likely has a better vocabulary than Webster's dictionary. Melania speaks several languages. When I hear her speak I noticed that she starts to mix languages and dialects together.

It's 2018 now. The worm has turned.
Personally, I could give a crap what the world thinks about us. When the poop hits the fan they come running to Daddy for help. The countries of the world are like a bunch of screaming children that offer very little in the way of substance. Without the United States, this planet would be in the dark ages. Eff em' all. Civilization truly didn't get off the ground until the new world was found and we have come a tremendous way in a short period of time. A few hundred years compared to the untold millions of years that this planet has existed and however long humans have walked the earth. It is nothing short of amazing and the United States is responsible for the consolidation for all of it.

I do that sometimes. I was in a Korean supermarket and knowing few employees spoke English, I automatically started speaking Spanish, which is the 'default foreign language' in this sanctuary city.

While the lib-tards concentrate on the frivolous the President chocks up another big win.

France just agreed to meet its NATO commitment.

Unlike the lies told in the leftist destroy Trump media, Trump and New French President Emmanuel Macron have a good and friendly relationship. Its producing a win for America and a win for the security of France too. Making the world a safer place for everyone.

oops burst your bubble baby....France agreed to reach their target by 2024 in 2014. Way before Macron and Trump.

They will reach their goal this year.

Two different meanings for sure.

And Macron still wants Trump to keep the Iran deal.

You just said they agreed to do it in 2024.

Now its being announced they will do it this year, you say. So where is the bubble ?

If Trump did stay in the Iran deal like so many on the left want is that a bad thing ?

I agree Trump has to give the French President something to show in cooperation and help him look good back in France to his people. That's the way diplomacy works with ally's. We don't know what that is yet. It could be something on trade also. If we find out during the visit I'm sure it will be posted in this thread.

More details about the State visit and Melania's role in the article but note this from CBS:

So confident was Trump about her ability to handle something like a state dinner, with its myriad details, that the First Lady would not hire an event planner to help, as previous first ladies have done in the past to manage the grandeur and spectacle.

My chick is an event planner. Had certain things not been so toxic she could have been in the running for a job like that. It's a dream job.

France has been our longest ally but we have had disagreements over several policy decisions in the past. It's time to return to the friendship that started with France supporting us in the Revolutionary War, Statue of Liberty and our soldiers (my Father included) attacking and kicking out the Germans.

Send me some French wine and cheese please.
