More national security staffing news today -- perhaps they're running out of people willing to be hired so they're starting to recycle old ones. Maybe Scaramucci will be coming back any day now too.

Aide Ousted From White House Re-emerges at Justice Dept.

A former American intelligence official who came under intense scrutiny during a stint at the White House last year is returning to government as the national security adviser to Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

The official, Ezra Cohen-Watnick, will play an important role at the Justice Department, advising Mr. Sessions on counterintelligence and counterterrorism.

Mr. Cohen-Watnick, 31, served briefly at the start of the Trump administration as the senior director for intelligence for the National Security Council, overseeing covert action and other intelligence programs. He was brought on by Michael T. Flynn, President Trump’s first national security adviser.

Mr. Cohen-Watnick was ousted in August 2017.

A bit more on Cohen Watnick from another article.

Cohen-Watnick drew public scrutiny when it was revealed last year that he and another White House aide briefed Rep. Devin Nunes, the Republican chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, on classified intelligence briefings showing the government's incidental surveillance of the Trump transition team.

Nunes used the information to support Trump's unsubstantiated claims that the Obama administration wiretapped Trump Tower during the election. The congressman was soon forced to recuse himself from the politically polarized inquiry, which later fell apart.

This is a very interesting development.

Cohen-Watnick is one of General Flynn's guys.

Cohen-Watnick is a spook, and is likely going into the DOJ to root out the bad apples.

Like I said, this is an interesting development.

Flynn knows where all the dead bodies are.
They had to destroy him.

Judging from the musical chairs going on, and the jobs that remain unfilled, there may be no choice but to recycle.

I so hope Scaramucci comes back. He's been doing a good job of representing Trump on various talk shows. He has a certain charm that the rest of Trump's team seems to be missing.

"Hey, it's the Mooch here.............bada bing, bada boom !"

Here we are, almost a year and a half into this administration (gasp), and about 200 key jobs have still not been filled. Trump may have to reinstate the draft, not to get soldiers, but to get anyone they can to come and work in this mess of a WH. If they do reinstate it, people will be heading for the Canadian border so they don't have to serve.
