Mims interviewed the three officers as well as witnesses from inside the Waffle House, including six employees and one customer. Of those witnesses, two were African American and four were female, he said. All witnesses confirmed that Clemons and her friends smelled of alcohol and appeared drunk. One person brought a drink believed to be alcoholic into the restaurant.
The witnesses said Clemons and Adams loudly shouted profanity at the Waffle House employees. One of them shouted “I’ll come over this counter” and threatened to beat the employee, saying “B—-, I’m gonna have your job, you ain’t gonna be here tomorrow.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.fe5aea09dd45
more sensitivity training to s the obvious solution here.
Why would anybody want to take a gun into a restaurant anyway, Is it that dangerous to eat out in the states?
To many that legally carry a concealed firearm it is like an insurance policy. They don't cancel the policy anytime they feel the environment may be less risky, then reinstate the policy when they perceive more risk. It is there just in case, and a concealed firearm is carried like a wallet, keys, and cell phone. Just part of the every day carry.
I don't cancel my home owners insurance during rainy season because it lessens the threat of a fire, nor do I cancel my auto insurance when driving out in the country with few other cars.
All this Waffle House talk makes me hungry. Think I’ll visit them tonight.
