And then we have this video.
Amazing science that drives this planet. All of human history has taken place in a brief moment of warmth and it looks like we are coming to the end of that. When the ice returns it will be a mile deep and will last for 1000 centuries. At that point, human history and all that we have built will be gone and not even a memory.

It may have been possible to negotiate it down. Many of these other countries pushing high demands on the US have luxuries like universal healthcare, robust social programs, excellent public transit, etc. The US doesn't have these kinds of luxuries, and it's not fair for these overprivileged countries to make high financial demands on the US when the average American is struggling as it is just to stay afloat.

Because it would ultimately come out of his paycheck, and his taxes are already not so much lower than the OECD average.

The Paris accord was not in the negotiation phase. It was finalized and in the signing phase. In fact, we had already signed it and it was about to enter the implementation phase. Besides, the rest of the world was not interested in negotiating it down. Their position was that it was a done deal, take it or take. But we left it. An option that they did not even consider an option, and wouldn't have been under anybody else but Trump.

Goody, more land means less wars. Lots of wars are fought over territory, who own more land to produce products on. More warming, more land, not as much territory to fight for ownership. YEAH

The only thing they seem to want is our money.
Some might say that when the USA gets into an agreement like the Paris climate accord other countries will follow and join in to and make their pledges. The thing is we heard more about the world cutting ties when Trump was elected so said the Lefty media again and again.. so of they don't want us we don't need them and they certainly don't need our money..
You live on Cape Cod for reals? Do you ever go anywhere or are you a shut-in? Ever read your local papers or are they voice of Satan to your way of thinking? I ask because I Googled "Cape Cod" to see how its faring these days. The first thing that came up was a great story with accompanying graphics put out by NASA.

If you want to zero in on Cape Cop, check out this imagery put out by the Earth Observatory which records our changing earth by taking pictures and recording other data from special high altitude satellites. Sponsored by NASA(again), it has some very cool graphics HERE.

Remember NASA? You know, they're the space exploration outfit that faked the US landing on the moon. They also have a fake Advanced Large Precision Structures (ALPS) Laboratory, a psuedo Astrobiogeochemistry Laboratory, and an Astrobiology and Planetary Geochemistry Laboratory that are made of plywood props - kind of like when you were in junior high play, remember? Oh, and let's not forget the FAKE NEWS Cryogenic Chemistry Laboratory, FAKE NEWS Cubesat Development Lab, and FAKE NEWS Electric Propulsion Laboratory.

Where the US gets it reputation for state of the art scientific research in so many fields is completely beyond me.

How come you don't recognize what's going on in your own home?

And we have a bunch of freaking idiots in this country. We are the only country in the world with so many stupid people who don't believe climate change is real. Welcome to Trump's America, home of the rightwing idiots. They are an embarrassment to the human race.

And some are so convinced NASA faked the moon landing they feel the need to lecture others on their ignorance.
