Of course the globe is cooling, the Sun's output is the lowest that has ever been recorded. The Earth's reaction to that may have been the temporary warming we experienced. It may be a pattern that has been going on for a billion years. No one knows since they have only been keeping records for 100 years or so which is beyond ridiculous.
Amazing science that drives this planet. All of human history has taken place in a brief moment of warmth and it looks like we are coming to the end of that. When the ice returns it will be a mile deep and will last for 1000 centuries. At that point, human history and all that we have built will be gone and not even a memory.
Yes, it was necessary, because they couldn't care less about our pledge, they only wanted our $10 Billion per year contribution to the Green Fund.

The Paris accord was not in the negotiation phase. It was finalized and in the signing phase. In fact, we had already signed it and it was about to enter the implementation phase. Besides, the rest of the world was not interested in negotiating it down. Their position was that it was a done deal, take it or take. But we left it. An option that they did not even consider an option, and wouldn't have been under anybody else but Trump.
There was no humans back then. We just gave the warming phase a boost.
Goody, more land means less wars. Lots of wars are fought over territory, who own more land to produce products on. More warming, more land, not as much territory to fight for ownership. YEAH
Do we really need to be part of some accord to a club to a cartel to make a difference ?
The only thing they seem to want is our money.
Some might say that when the USA gets into an agreement like the Paris climate accord other countries will follow and join in to and make their pledges. The thing is we heard more about the world cutting ties when Trump was elected so said the Lefty media again and again.. so of they don't want us we don't need them and they certainly don't need our money..

Where the US gets it reputation for state of the art scientific research in so many fields is completely beyond me.
