Jewish people own all the property in America too .
Jayz said it so it must be true .

“Sorry, Jay-Z – saying that Jews own all property in America is antisemitic
The rapper’s much-praised track The Story of OJ repeats a racist trope about Jewish people. It can’t just be laughed off as a compliment”

Jackson would apologize and even remove "Jew me" and "**** me" in later pressings to repeatedly "Sue me" and "Kick me" respectively.

As for Cardi B, I think she made a genuine statement but never got chastised for it in the past and because Jew is normalized to an extent like the n-word to African Americans, so it makes it seem like it isn't a problem when it us. I'll await her apology.

Musicians use racial epitaphs in song to encourage people not to say them? LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!

The lyric in the thread title is more of a compliment than an antisemitic statement, though it does follow a stereotype.

Count me in as another who has no idea who Cardi B is. I looked up her discography, and apparently "Bodak Yellow" and "Finesse (Remix)" with Bruno Mars (I do know him) were her two biggest hits. I pulled them up on YouTube and have never heard either.

Who do you consider to be a star? Okay...Cardi B is hotter than THAT person is right now, and it ain’t even close.
I'd say Ed Sheeran if someone asked me to name a current music superstar. Is she bigger than him?

Right now? HELL YEAH!! No one in music is bigger right now. Cardi B is stratospheric at this point.

That’s nothing to do with her talent. Sheeran is far more talented. But in this new atmosphere in entertainment and with hip hop being the most popular music genre, the stars are aligned for Cardi at this time. Ed Sheeran will be around much longer, but the music business is all about milking the ephemera for everything it can.

Cardi is however so magnetic, garrulous, funny and charismatic, that she’s gonna have a career beyond music. She killed it as Jimmy Fallon’s co-host.

In a way yes but musically, no. Cardi B isn't on as many pop and adult pop stations as Ed Sheeran, but she is more known from being on some reality show and being a social media celebrity.

I'm jewish and those lyrics in OP don't bother me at all.

her recent riff on taxes was hilarious and I can relate to her sentiments, but never heard any of her music.
