All I'm saying is free markets, by themselves, often do not lead to what is best for the world. To insist they "always do when allowed to" as you have done above is, imho, a sortof economic 'magical thinking' at best.
I never said free markets lead to what's best for the world. Economics does not concern itself with what is best for the world. It concerns itself with distribution of goods and services in a world of scarcity. "What's best for the world" is entirely subjective, and will have infinite different answers among the world's population.
I said the free market has faster, more efficient remedies for bad actors than the government, and voluntary associations of both producer and consumer is the simplest model for both proper functioning markets and objective neutrality.

The Internet proves the concept of freer markets being the preferable state of things every second of every day. Besides black/grey markets, it's the most free market the world has. How much more proof do you need?

The ball's in your court.
Less government force and coercion. Less government telling people who they must serve, when and they must serve them, etc.
Non-profit is a tax designation. They earn revenue and have cost, thus have profit. They simply do not reward the owners with the profit, but recycle what profits there are back into the business, typically in the form of cash accounts, increased salaries/bonuses, etc...and that's for tax breaks and other government perks.
Less government is always the best answer for robust, healthy economy. Once again, just ask the Internet.
I’d have thrown him out too. It shows his lack of good judgement and common sense. He is a liability to business owners. Who knows what trouble he will cause..
Looks like they have some tasty drinks at reasonable prices and some decent sandwiches.
Plus, the bartender keep things under control.
This does sound like a sweet bar. You can order a dozen drinks, enjoy them, tip, sue them for no reason, and become a martyr for low-information knuckle-draggers hyped up about muh Presudent? Martyring has never been so easy!
Man is thrown out of bar for wearing maga hat. Man sues and loses in court.
A Manhattan judge ruled Wednesday that there’s nothing “outrageous” about throwing the president’s supporters out of bars — because the law doesn’t protect against political discrimination.
"anyone who supports Trump — or believes in what you believe — is not welcome here! And you need to leave right now because we won’t serve you!” Piatek claims the staff of The Happiest Hour on West 10th Street told him after he and his pals complained about the rude service they were getting from a bartender.
"...that plaintiff was not served and eventually escorted out of the bar because of his perceived support for President Trump is not outrageous conduct,” the judge ruled.
I find this very unfair. a baker is sued, loses, and fined thousands for not baking a wedding cake because homosexual marriage is against his personal religious beliefs, but it is perfectly legal for a bar patron to be denied service and thrown out of a bar for his maga hat.
I think both businesses should be able to decide who they serve.
A lot of small businesses have been closing in my area the past two years. A lot of family members got hit hard by the Trump's barely hidden property tax increase (the removal of the housing rebate).
Politics and religion are both just ideologies, so this should apply to religion as well.
