Trump knew that too, especially given how brutally honest he is and how divisive, and he still went into politics and gave away half his business prospects.
He said he didn't want to enter politics but that he had to because nobody else was fixing things.
You'll never see a more selfless President than Trump.
You can never buy President Trump, unlike everyone before him.
I'll bet he's making a tidy profit off his hotel on Pennsylvania ave.

Nobody can put words in Trump's mouth, nor on his twitter.
He's the absolute opposite to a politician.
Well, for once we agree--I don't think people ARE really putting words in his mouth--
Whether he is "paid"--I think Trump is definitely making money off his position as POTUS

Trump is usually unscripted on Twitter or when he does something like call-in to Fox or Hannity's show
That is part of the problem
He makes spontaneous and ill-considered comments that when analyzed are proven either false or directly opposite to comments he has made previously--
His own comments about his OWN policies

So while you might denegrate politicians for being more circumspect--like in your opinion that means they are calculating to deceive or misrepresent their policies and actions--
At least they don't come off as sounding unhinged and maybe suffering from dimentia...

Trump -- if you go back and watch any past filmed comments on YouTube or other sources online--shows he has not aged well--in his 30s and 40s, he was fairly charismatic and could form an extended, coherent explanation of his positions even if I or another viewer might not agree with what he was discussing...
The deterioration is there for anyone to see if they trace the history of his filmed responses
That rational thought process is wearing down--
Dimentia or some other psychological/physical issue is definitely making its presence evident

Listen to the press conference he held yesterday with Merkel--
Same problem as the Fox and Friends morning segment Thursday
He can't control himself on certain topics
He can't resist jumping in to get the focus on him
He can't formulate a rational response
He just can't
He was an embarassment to the United States with his performance at that press conference
Anyone who has confidence in his ability to meet one-on-one with Kim over the N Korean nuclear or trade situation has just not paid any critical attention to his performance under stress...

And yet you are here posting as well!

Sorry, it's not fear and panic, it's mainly hilarity mixed with a tinge of pity that our President is losing it.

And Mar A Lago? He is billing the government, and you and I are paying him to host his massive security details and whatever other guests he has at his resort.

You know he has Trump pumped full of mood elevating drugs. Really reassuring to know our mentally ill President is high as a kite.
From what I know about Trump's ability to concentrate in say his daily intelligence briefings and how his team has difficulty getting him to pay attention for more than few minutes at time to complication explanations I think he likely has ADD and maybe dyslexia--
He was poor student all his life and had discipline issues as child/teen--one reason he was sent to military school from his other private education choices

Neither of those would likely be responsible for the emotional outbursts that Trump as come out with at times though--like the Fox and Friends outpouring of defensiveness...
That sounds more psychological in nature/cause

You say all this but Trump has NEVER made a mistake with a fellow world leader, ever.
He's far better than Obama at speaking, because Trump has a natural personality.
Trump is the only reason why China even bothered to lift a finger to help curtail North Korea, and Trump has done a tremendous job in his meetings with China.
Trump has done a tremendous job in all his meetings with world leaders, even those he didn't like.

The Clintons also used guest houses on their properties to house Secret Service detail and were reembursed by the Govt
The question is what is a fair rate
Apparently the SS decided that what Trump was charging at Trump Tower for their lodging was exorbitant and they relocated---which in itself could be considered to add risk to the security profile...
Trump always wants to make money on any deal he is involved with
So I imagine he is charging a more than market rate for what the government needs

Now this is a lie.

He got into a fuss on the phone with the prime minister of Australia because he didn't understand a refugee agreement.

He refused to shake Angela Merkel's hand. Rude as hell.

He just recently lied to the Canadian prime minister.

...

And this phone call on Fox and Friends? You got to know that every leader in the world is watching that and yukking it up.

You left out the comments about the Mexican President and the Wall--
I don't see that as a successful way to negotiate that objective

You cannot be serious with this post.

Those are some rosy colored spectacles you have there.
