They are the only people in America claiming to suffer from historical injuries done to their ancestors. And the only reason is because the left has told them that's how they should expect to prosper - by exploiting their special status as perpetual victims. Its part and parcel of Identity Politics. Without a perpetual grievance, the racket doesn't pay - and it doesn't make any sense either.

So no matter how much is done for blacks - no matter how many "accommodations" and special treatment are offered, no matter how much false praise is heaped on them, no matter how much money is spent, it won't ever be enough. Nobody can do enough to "pay them back" for the abuses they never suffered. To undo the harms they never knew. To correct the injustices they never endured. And that's why its a perfect way to leverage the slave mentality- for their suffering is unending. Much like the Jews. Destined to be persecuted until the end of time (even long after they have become the dominant and wealthiest ethnic group in the societies they inhabit - it still will never be enough).

The latest slavery museum is a perfect example. It is textbook.
What a bunch of Horsecrap!

What do you mean "abuses never suffered" and "injustices never endured"?

So you must think that blacks walked off the plantation completely unaffected by the psychologically damage done to them. You must also believe that once they were outside the boundaries of the plantation, that white America welcomed them with opened arms of benevolent compassion.

You have no idea how ex-slaves thought of themselves after being "emanicipated". Most had very little social skills to pass on to their offspring. Their family structure was completely destroyed from the institution of slavery. They were regarded as having the status of animals and that's how their families were viewed. Just like a family of pigs or sheep being raised for profit.

This is how most white Americans perceived descendants of African slaves post emanicipation. Their racist views would persist right up until this very moment and they include opinions like yours. These are the same types of opinions that prompt whites to inflict harm upon members of the African-American community. It's this type of mentality that seems to condone racist white cops to relentless murder unarmed black men in the streets of our country. It's this same type of mentality that fails to either prosecute or convict these same racist cops for their terroristic acts of violence waged against the black community.

I'd also like to know your interpretation of "free citizen". How can a person be a "free citizen" without so-called "equal rights" only to be granted 60 years later? That's not only irrational, it's absent of conscience.

That's especially questionable when it has been a well established fact that both minorities and the poor have drastically unequal access to our courts. Even when their cases are presented in court, quite often they are denied equitable judgement. Judgement quite similar to one in which you've demonstrated here today and throughout your history here on CD.

Are you absolutely delusional?

Please African Americans...STOP EXPLAINING YOUR VOTE TO WHITE CONSERVATIVES .

They aren’t owed a single explanation as to why we vote the way we do. It’s none of their concern. We vote the way we do because we feel like it...that’s all they need to know. And even that explanation is saying too much.

Conservatives are in no position to preach to us about politics. If they know so much, why haven’t THEY fixed the damn country when they’ve had power? They’ve sunk this country into deep debt and interminable wars.

They don’t know anything more about running a country than you do. Ignore ‘em.

Good to see your racism out in the open. Don't listen to whitey. Listen to the black president.

Funny how you wont discuss policy and which conservative policies are bad. Granted that would get in the way of falsely playing the race card and expose the hypocrisy since the conservative form of government is to not nation build.

What's even more laughable is YOU saying you're against intervention in the Middle East and post alot on that subject yet you voted for the black person who is completely against your beliefs. When one stands in quicksand it's hard to understand which way to go.

Quick make something up like I voted for Bush. lol

Oh and one more thing, you don't speak for black people. People are not alike because of their skin color.

Which blacks today lived on a plantation? And why would anyone need "access to courts"?

Most people don't make money suing other folks. You do not need "access to courts" (by which I can only assume you mean the money to hire lawyers to sue people on your behalf) to prosper in America.

Most people live their whole lives and never sue anyone.

The suggestion that blacks are somehow handicapped by not having equal "access to courts" is nonsense.

If that's outreach, ok then
I have yet to understand the argument behind the Clinton attack

If you have no problem with Trump and Romney trying to eat grits , then you should have no problem with Clinton's comment.

And and how is it ok to say point blank that Democrats have black people on a plantation, but wrong to say Republicans want to put black people back on one.

You are so one sided you don't even realize how flawed your logic is

So your argument is all the racist Democrats in West Virginia started voting Republican, got it .

This thread isn't about policy and trying to argue that black people should think freely implies they aren't already, basically you are calling people stupid and then pretending you don't understand when you get called out on it

I'm black and have never dealt with any absurd racism. This isn't the 1950s.

So white people are evil, and yet white people are the ones who can help black people?

Well which one is? Certainly the oppressor is not someone you can look to for social progression?

Last time I checked, getting a college degree or serving in the military was far easier and faster than a bureaucrat trying to legislate you out of poverty.

Change is already here buddy (8 years of a black president proved it). It's a matter of taking advantage of that change. Many blacks have but the majority have not.

Good luck but I won't hold my breath. Blacks should be done with waiting on liberals to find solutions for them while everyone else seems to be living productive and successful lives.

I'm glad that you believe the lives of blacks can be put on pause while you search for solution. Some of us blacks actually prefer to be successful in this life time. Perhaps it's all the black successful doctors, lawyers, musicians, entertainers, and athletes that just so sparked my motivation of not waiting on liberal handouts to change my situation.

I agree but also add Stop attacking other AA who disagree with the way you vote.

None of us need to explain our vote or be attacked for voting the way we do. We can criticize the candidate not the person who casts the vote.
