Since you haven't seen the records, how do you know if President Trump made the right decision or not? If he had released them, you'd probably be screaming about how he is endangering national security.
So "who did it and why and how" is not known to Trump or CIA (or it would make America look bad or reveal how American "intelligence" works)?
So, was it Ted Cruz's father, or is Trump a lying slanderous sack of ****? You hedge your bets.
Like many of us who voted Dem in those days, JFK would be ashamed of the Democrat Party that exists today. He would be considered a hard core Republican.
Yeah, I can see why. He would find it uncomfortable for Americans to be reminded of a time when we had a president who - despite problems and detractors at the time - was overall a president to be proud of. Unlike draft-doger Trump, Kennedy was actually a war hero. Although rich, Kennedy wasn't trying to further enrich himself. Unlike Trump, Kennedy was classy, elegant, smart, and articulate. He was known for his quick wit. He energized people to public service. And of course he was young and conveyed a sense of energy. And at least if he had extra-marital liaisons, he wasn't so crude as to be puck (PUBLIC) about them.
Dammit, I can't edit, but that was supposed to say: And at least if he had extra-marital liaisons, he wasn't so crude as to be public about them. That was meant as a contrast with Trump, of course.
I was under the impression this had nothing to do with Trump, they had to be released by LAW, and the CIA and FBI were trying to keep a certain part of it classified though, theres only a couple reasons they can use in order to legally challenge, one is if the release implicates govt or law enforcement!!
On another note, this should be a wake up call to the skeptics of conspiracy theories...its been classified THIS LONG and has not leaked out since, not even with all the people coming and going from these agencies over the years! Gee, I guess Govt IS pretty darn good at keeping BIG secrets after all! LOL

You mean he has lied again. I am shocked yes shocked.

Yes. It's not Trump. You really think he took the time or HAD the time to read those files?
The usual players stopped it from being released. Those of us who were alive back then and sort of know what really happened have a pretty good idea why the CIA and the FBI wouldn't want their actions exposed. (They were in on it.)
"The National Archives released its last batch of more than 19,000 records on Thursday. But an undisclosed amount of material remains under wraps because Trump said the potential harm to U.S. national security, law enforcement or foreign affairs is "of such gravity that it outweighs the public interest in immediate disclosure."
"He ordered the CIA and other agencies to take yet another look at each blacked-out section of their documents during the next three years to see what more can be released.
CIA spokesman Nicole de Haay said the agency has already released more than 99 percent of CIA information that was in the Kennedy assassination records collection. "CIA narrowly redacted information in rare instances only to protect CIA assets, officers and their families as well as intelligence methods, operations and partnerships that remain critical to the security of our nation," she said."

Release them. Period.
