While experience may be lacking for an organization as large as the VA that could have been a ding against him. But Tester's tirade is out of line and he needs to be smacked down for it.
Anyone who claims that an Admiral is lacking in administrative experience doesn't really understand the process and duties required by which one becomes an Admiral.

He lacks experience running an agency as large as the VA, in fact most do. That was the point. And that is the only thing that could possibly be held against him which could have been worked out with discussion in hearings but it didn't get that far. I understand plenty what is required so take a chill pill.
So if they were false allegations, why didn't Jackson stand up and fight for his name? "It wasn't worth the headache?"
Over 20 former and current coworkers came forward to document inappropriate behavior by Ronnie Jackson. I'm guessing Jackson resigned because he didn't want to be embarrassed and exposed. If he had continued to seek the VA Sec job, those 20+ former coworkers would have testified on record about Jakson's drug use, banging on a female coworker's hotel door late at night while drunk, and when Jackson damaged a gov't vehicle while driving under the influence.

I wasn't targeting you, just using your post as a jump off.
"but Megan McCain said that Jackson was not considered a good choice by Vets"'
So what, I AM a VET and she did NOT ask me.
I think he is as qualified as any body else.
"and agencies that represent Vets."
Again, I BELONG to VET organizations and not ONE of them asked me MY opinion and have written them to complain that they should NOT make a formal statement WITHOUT consulting the VETS they represent.

Please see what the link I posted earlier as the Secret Service has denied the hotel incident happened and the alleged car wreck has no evidence it happened. The article also addresses the review of the post. FWIW many employees don't like their bosses or coworkers.
