The article isn't very clear. California has an open primary, and the two highest candidates will run against each other, even if it is two Democrats. So saying that Little is at about 18 points doesn't give you much information, because we don't have an idea of where the non-Republicans are. I have my CA Voter information Guide in front of me, and listed as running for the senate are 11 Republicans, 10 Democrats, 1 Libertarian, 1 Peace and Freedom Party, and 8 that say "No Party Preference." The article seems to say that this guy actually has a chance to make it into the general election. For that to be true, he would have to come out ahead of 30 of the 31 candidates. As is always the case, most of that long list will end up with numbers under 1%, so it is assured that he will come out ahead of a lot of people, but could he come out as number two? There are a couple of pretty popular Democrats on that list, plus Ms. Feinstein. I'm not saying it's impossible, but the article didn't give any evidence that this is actually a likely scenario. By the way, Mr. Little did not have a "Candidate's Statement" in the Guide. Not submitting a statement is not a good way to start a campaign, as lots of Californians start their decision making process with reading those statements.

Agreed. And I assume you agree that Hilary has no credibility either.

Once again you make a claim that doesn't pass the smell test.

EVERYONE was misled, including GWB. You can thank the intelligence community for the bad info. THEY are the people that said there was a 97% chance that Hussein had WMD's. They were the ones who wanted to invade and the President listened to them and Cheney.

WE shouldn't have invaded either country. They knew what would happen after the USSR basically collapsed trying to take over Afghanistan (their Viet Nam) and just about ALL of our Congressmen "were for it before they were against it!" Most of those fools are still running the show, which is an example of how pathetic our system has become and stupid our voting pool is.

Did you vote for the same representatives and senators who voted for these wars? If yes, then you are a hypocrite.

Stop with your partisan tripe and historical fantasy - the Dems are every bit to blame for wars they had no intention of winning.

In some ways it's the culmination of Republican and Conservative policies. "Tradition" = blacks in their place and Jews too (ask Henry Ford and many others throughout history).

Nothing surprises me any longer. There is some hope as the older population dies off however many of them have taught this hate to their children, so it's not like things will change instantly.
Get over it: Comey is a jerk: Trump got elected by winning more states and a huge number of counties in those states and many Jews voted for him including our Jewish son in law and our Jewish friends. This idiot may be a registered Republican but he does not represent our party. I could be a registered socialist but I would not represent their party. And maybe you haven't noticed but more and more blacks are identifying with the GOP every day. Of course they are still mostly Democrats. Stop playing the race game and suck it up butter cup!!!!!!! As a party the GOP is probably less bigoted than the Dems. We just do not protest or wear our views on our sleeves.

There are 32 candidates for Senator on this ballot.

11 Republicans

10 Democrats (very surprising they're running against Feinstein)

The rest are no party or oddball parties
