Oh brother.

The liberals are the root of the drug problem.

The conservatives are the root of the gun problem.

Alrighty then.

So you admit that you obsess over what might have happened in ALL hotel beds, not just those in San Francisco? I think there are groups available to help people work through issues like that.

The drug problem has NOTHING to do with the political parties, even during Obamas presidency, they were EXTREMELY tough on drugs, its actually when the DEA cracked down on doctors and opioid pills too.

Law enforcement/ collusion is the real cause of the drug problem and why it is as bad as it is right now, instead of driving the cartels out of business, our policies are increasing their profits to astronomical levels.

Lennie Bruce had it right 50 years ago. The biggest drug pushers in the U.S. are Pfizer, Merck, Johnson & Johnson, etc., etc.

I know politics isn't the root cause. Couldn't see my sarcasm? OP tied issue to liberal policies...politics.

If that were true, why did all those big pharma companies accept the Govt cracking down on opioid prescription drugs, to the point where its nearly impossible to get any doctor to write scripts for them?!!

If the pharma industry was truly that powerful, they would have fought to make it easier for addicts to get their drugs, not harder!

The ones with the real power and influence are the drug cartels, they managed to steal all the opioid customers/addicts away from the pharma industry!

For years the pharmaceutical companies made deceptive and misleading claims that understated the addictive nature of their products. Just like the tobacco companies.
