One of Trump's very fine white supremacists was found guilty of attacking a black man during the Charlottesville alt-right rally. The jury suggested a 10 year prison sentence.
Goodwin, outfitted in a helmet, goggles, and carrying a large shield, claimed he was defending himself from Harris, a SpEd instructional assistant who was on the ground, scrambling to get away while Goodwin and three other beat and kicked him.
The attack left Harris with a broken arm, head lacerations, and a spinal injury.
“I thought he was a hostile . . . to be honest, I was terrified,” Goodwin said, who added that he thought he could have died and that “I’d probably perish or be sent to the hospital and be terribly hurt.”
“I was trying to neutralize a threat,” Goodwin said.
The jury thought he was full of it, found him guilty, and recommended 10 years in prison and a fine.
"Three other men have been also been arrested in connection to the attack on charges ranging from felonious assault to malicious wounding: Alex Michael Ramos of Georgia, whose trial is scheduled to begin Wednesday; and Daniel Borden of Ohio and Tyler Watkins Davis of Florida, who face trials this summer."

It would seem that the left is desperate to try to take any story and make it about Trump. His comments were not about the radicals, and instead about those peacefully protesting.
Yet leftist wish to make the issue about which side of the coin people are on, ergo anything on the pro-removal of confederate statues was ok (including violence by antifa anarchists), and anyone against the removal was bad.
Just as there are groups like the "Daughters of the American Revolution", there are groups like "Daughters of the Confederacy".
Those and like minded people were there peacefully exercising their right to assemble and object to government actions. The peaceful people on both sides should not be impugned because violent radicals from either side of the coin decided to create mayhem.
There's a very good reason why Fox News viewers are so uninformed.
