If you're staying at a Holiday Inn, you take what they have. If you're paying $500+ per night, I'm sure they'll find you some shampoo of your choice.

That being said, if I was so picky I had to have particular hair or skin needs tended to, I'd pack my own. I used to, in fact. But now that we stay pretty much exclusively at high end places, part of the fun vacation is trying out their products. It's funny because now certain scents will give me a pleasurable flash-back to vacation spots.

I take all them free bottles home and stash for emergency days when ran out at home. We always bring our own toiletries that we use at home on the road. She should just pack her own suff too. Problem solved
