Thought they wouldn't get their 15 minutes of fame
I’m sorry, you must be in the wrong thread. The jack*** who got drunk and belligerent in a bar and then sued after he claimed he got kicked out over his stupid hat was the one looking for his 15 minutes.
These mens’ actions lead to a 6-figure donation that will go a long way in helping young people in that city.
What utter hogwash. Why should the taxpayers have to pay for these two guys to act like morons. Pure extortion. Starbucks, and the City fell for it. Both entities are liberal/progressive cesspools, so deserve this garbage.
I suspect the Starbucks settlement will be much larger.
They will get free rides to finish their degrees at Arizona State University as well as an undisclosed financial amount from Starbucks.
The city clearly worked with Starbucks behind the scenes as the separate settlements were announced on the same day.
Either way, they got theirs (from the Starbucks settlement which I'm sure the city was involved with) and managed to make themselves look good for future financial opportunities too (from the city's settlement which I'm sure Starbucks had hand in).
Looking at all the people fooled in this thread thinking these guys are heroes is hysterical.
Wait, what happened to all of the posters in the other threads who claimed these two gentlemen were looking for their two minutes of fame?
This is such a great move for the community.
Yes, $200K stolen at gunpoint from the citizens of Philly to be swallowed up by the government for a program on entrepreneurship.
Socialists running a program on capitalism...hey, what could go wrong?
