No but it tends to be the idle rich that espouses this sort of stuff. They tend to be clueless as to why people are in the economic situation they are in since they are so isolated from the poverty in America. They assume its simply an unfair economic system and a fairer one would cure all of this.

Its the working and middle class that will pay the brunt of all of these lofty ideals when their tax dollars will go do pay for people one peg economically below them who often are not motivated to do better all sorts of reasons that have nothing to do with capitalism.

They assume its simply an unfair economic system and a fairer one would cure all of this. Capitalism is an unfair economic system someone who bought bitcoin early on to buy drugs on the dark web is now a multimilionaire while a teacher works 50 hours a week for peanuts. Capitalism is not fair or just it is only concerned with profit.

Its the working and middle class that will pay the brunt of all of these lofty ideals Nonsense the rich will bear the brunt of it.

In my experience with rich liberal friends that I have they tend to simply go along with whatever the liberal organizations they support say. They are usually totally isolated from poverty.

Life is not fair. Everyone is not good looking or super smart or in naturally good health or any number of things that define who we are. And so using Bitcoin as the example is like saying winning a jackpot in a casino is not fair. Lots of people get things they don't really deserve. So what? How about all the entrepreneurial types who come up with an idea and through hard work make it into a success. Like Bill Gates or Mark Cuban.

Look at Cuba. Very fair system as long as you don't mind being poor. Where is the innovation coming out of Cuba? You take away the reward for the work done by someone like Bill Gates and advancements go away. On top of that the poorest segment of Americans have a much better life than the average Cuban. And unlike the Cubans they have the opportunity to get out of poverty.

A rich person making $50 million a year could pay another 20% of their income in taxes and it would not effect their quality of life. I am against it because I don't believe the government would use the money correctly. But a middle class or working class person who will have to pay more sales tax, property tax or gas tax or income tax will have an impact in the quality of life. Look at California with its $4 gas prices. Who does that harm? And when the left starts raising taxes it impacts everyone. You raise taxes on corporations they raise prices. The brunt of it falls on the middle and working class.

Nothing Marx thought was correct and nothing Marx suggested turned peaceful or egalitarian.

Marx's work simply overturned the power structure and replaced it with a new one. it does not work.
it never worked. It did nothing whatsoever to lift humanity from the grinding poverty that was the status quo from time immemorial.

Capitalism and Democracy were the things that lifted humanity above that static reality.

Marxism and communism sound good "in theory." But in reality, you get Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Ceaușescu, Castro, Kim Jong Il, etc.

That is kind of the problem.

Capitalism isn't even a theory. It's a state of nature. It is because it is. All individuals are capitalists. For some odd reason many, in fact nearly all, choose to give it up for Marxism.

And have you noticed that Marxists--er, Marxians (the new preferred kinder gentler term)--never bring up the subject of human rights? Press freedom, dissent, protest, artistic expression, etc,. Now, why is that? Maybe one of you Marxists--er, Marxians-- could explain this.
