I tried to have a friendly discussion with you but what you intend on doing is misconstruing my words to justify your own humor, create falsities where there are none, and then use other posters who just came into the discussion as sources of more disruption.
That hypothetical he was laughing at was yours, not mine. If you don't want have a level headed discussion with me, I won't bother you anymore.

no you haven't...
every time someone debunks the failed theory of comrade marx, you call it bs, and everything else
debating you is like debating a child having a temper-tantrum
face the facts
Marxism (communism) and its subordinate sisters of socialism, fascism, and American liberalism are a failed EVIL theories, from a warped mind of the leftwing nut insane mind of karl marx and his followers of hitler, Mussolini, lennin, stalin, castro, and mao
yet you keep having a temper-tantrum because YOU Idolize an evil theory, and you HAVE to prove your right, even though you cant
Why not consider the more reasonable proposition that no one owns anybody, either himself or anyone else, nor any share of anybody?
After all, aren't you guys the ones who judge early Americans for the belief in owning people as property? They thought the world would fall apart? They couldn't imagine a world where they weren't allowed to continue to do so. They fought a civil war over it? They entrenched the belief in their Constitution?
ARTICLE. VII. Section 9:
Quote:
(4) No bill of attainder, ex post facto law, or law denying or impairing the right of property in negro slaves shall be passed.
The problem here, as I see it, is likely a difference in desire, so to speak.
I do not, nor do I desire to do so, view people as property, all else cascades from that originating thought, belief, opinion ... .
Immanuel Kant said rational human beings should be treated as an end in themselves & not as a means to something else. "The fact that we are human has value in itself."

It's semantics Chi.
I don't have a better word for self-determination than self-ownership. Neither did Rothbard.
If you notice he used the terminology of "within the framework" when describing the reality of children being cared for by adults.
Of course being human has value in itself. What better way to respect that value by saying all humans should be free to do what they want as long as they don't commit violence against others?
My desire is for all individuals to have self-determination. That's why the NAP is directly tied to it. If you hit me in the head with a baseball bat and steal the bread from my hand you've surely altered my ability to self-determine my life.
anyone who strongly believes in Marxism or whatever, is welcome to put their words into actions and go out and try to establish it where they want to. best of luck to you.

Marxism is/was so great that it failed everywhere it has been tried.
What an argument Winterfall has tirelessly explained his point dozens of times in this thread and thats all you have? Why don't you read through the thread and see what Winterfall is advocating it isn't totalitarianism.

But the people won't see it as slavery, once they've attended re-education camp.
There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”

I think the gulags were the real champions of anti-intellectualism.
