Two of the captors were taken under Trump's watch. One of them was taken under Obama's watch. NONE OF THAT BICKERING MATTERS.

Three Americans are coming home! Good job Donald Trump, GREAT job Mike Pompeo!

More unprovoked attacks on liberals.

Enjoy the moment about 3 prisoners released.

This is good -- but this is not an Obama vs. Trump battle.

Obama had no game here. One of the three was detained during the last 8 months of Obama's Presidency. It took Trump over a year to negotiate the release of the two arrested last April/May -- Obama would have needed at least the same time in order for all o fyou to think this was some kind of 'equal' opportunity contest.

And it isn't a contest.

Pompeo did a great job.

funny how quick this came together with him on board.
It isn't a contest but you really couldn't also have included President Trump in the great job comment.

Pompeo is perfect because he's spoken to Trump more than anyone else in the administration because he was the CIA briefer, very in tune with Trump.

You consider the mild one-sentence post that you quoted to be an "attack"? Are you serious?

You have a very strange way of looking at things. North Korea likely sees the Iran "debacle" as a sign that the US is committed to follow through with its agenda, rather than fold to international interests every time things get heated.

Trump is showing strong leadership by sticking to his plans, and THAT scares leaders like Kim and Rouhani.

If we backed down every time one of our allies expressed disagreement with our plans, we would look weak and ineffective, and THAT would encourage bad leaders to rise up.

You left out a key element in your observation of the liberals.

I think that the criticism and concern for WWIII with North Korea was from when Trump was using the tactic of threatening and name calling of Kim Jong Lee.

I think that Trumps' critics support diplomacy as the way to deal with North Korea.

And that's what he and Pompeo are doing now -- diplomacy -- that's all folks were asking for.

I would take that as a win for Trumps' critics. Showing that you get more results acting like adults than children.
