If Sessions is fired, it will be close to the Saturday Night Massacre all over again. Cox was the special prosecutor and not the AG, but the reasons behind the termination will be apparent to everyone. Trump CAN do it, but the evidence exists and some federal prosecutor, somewhere, will act on it. He can't fire them all.

The law is very specific. Wire taps are legal, as long as a court finds just cause and approves it. We do it to underworld figures, etc all the time.

I realize Loony Left math believes $130K is much more than $84 mil.
I dunno. Ask Jeff Sessions.

No, I said most people are hypocritical. Again, I will not do this again. If you want to discuss what I said, fine, if not I will not discuss what you made up for me.

I only read one remark of Guiliani's. It was carefully said. He said Cohen was reimbursed out of his retainer. A retainer would be saying that Cohen was employed by Trump as a lawyer despite what Trump might have said in the past.

Wiretaps are difficult to get. Applications require multiple layers of review, including by career lawyers in Washington, plus approval by a district court judge (not magistrate). Also they signify proof of an ongoing crime. And you don't tap a President's attorney lightly. twitter.com/nbcnews/status…

Everyone should be concerned here. The reason everyone is not, is because of political hypocrisy.
This thread is about Michael Cohen being wiretapped.

Political hypocrisy should be the subject of a different thread.

If someone alluded to hypocrisy in your posts, re-examine your post. Did you stay on topic?

I’m not concerned about hypocrisy. Sometimes what appears to be hypocrisy is stupidity and everybody knows you can’t fix stupid.

I find that sad, disappointing and telling.

Ongoing crime.....as in offering a presidential pardon to someone in exchange for their lying to FBI agents??

Interesting theory I heard on another site. It was reported that the reason for the raid on Cohen's office and home was because they had reason to believe he was going to destroy evidence. Now we learn that Cohen's phones were tapped before the raid. Did they hear something in those wire taps that led them to believe Cohen was preparing to destroy evidence?
