10 minutes ago I watched Neil Cavuto interview former Trump campaign aide Caputo.

Caputo said he was just interviewed by the Mueller team, and they warned him about talking on Fox News and said "We'll be watching".

He said all the questions Mueller's team asked him were questions they already had the answer to so all they were trying to do was catch him in a lie so they could convert him into a subject and charge him with perjury.

And he said the Trump name was never mentioned, none of Trump's family were mentioned in the questions.

He said he thinks the Mueller team has absolutely nothing to investigate so they are just trying to catch people lying and charge them.

If you have nothing to lie about, you have nothing to worry about.

That's a simple statement use by a lot of parents. In the legal system it simply doesn't fly.

When the testimony of two wittiness is different the prosecutor can chose which one he wants to believe and charge the other with lying. When the prosecution is bias its a forgone collusion who they will charge with the crime. The one they want/need to be guilty.
Even if they aren't bias its a judgement call. So they get to be not only the prosecution but the Judge too. Although a higher judge will rule on it in the future. The prosecutor has the hook into the wittiness to entice him into a deal. He can sing or compose and get off lighter.

Said by many an Prosecutor / Detective to an innocent American before they were sentenced to prison.

In recent years DNA has proved them wrong by the thousands.

So why doesn't Trump just help end this investigation by sitting down with Mueller and answering all his questions. If Mueller has nothing as Caputao says, and Trump has not done anything wrong, then he should sit down with the Special Counsel, answer all of his questions, and be done with it. I'm sure Mueller would be able to wrap things up pretty quickly after that.

Trump keeps insisting that he'd love to sit down with Mueller, but unfortunately for all of us, he says his lawyers dont' want him to do. Why not? There's no "perjury trap" if Trump simply tells the truth.

What's the issue here? Why do Trump voters keep ducking and dodging these simple questions? If Trump tells Mueller the truth, there's no danger of a perjury trap. If Trump has nothing to hide, he should be okay with telling the truth.

Trump supporters, be honest with yourselves. If Obama was under investigation while he was in the WH, and he refused to sit down with a Special Counsel to answer questions, would you not be suspicious of that? OF COURSE YOU WOULD.

Most Trump supporters are hypocrites.

Mueller has indicted people on more than 'my word against yours'. Flynn pleaded gulity. Manafort is set to serve multiple sentences, Rick Gates signed a plea deal. These are not the actions of innocent people.

LOL....the former top CIA & FBI leaders in conjunction with Mueller's Nazi Democrat Socialist Gestapo team already have the man they want to depose, they'll keep searching until they can manufacture a crime.

This guy was threatened and had to move his family and nearly broke from the actions of the out of control Mueller Gestapo team.....I hope they have to pay for their wrongs one day.

If Muller said that to me I would still be scared considering he has knowingly sent at least one innocent man to prison. Bob Muller missed the day in law school when they taught the ethics of how it is better to set a hundred guilty men free than send one innocent man to jail.
