Do you think this will decrease the number of abortions and/or increase the number of healthy babies to women who seek proper prenatal care? Just curious.
Why can't these people mind their own freaking business? If they are so pro-life, why don't they care about the babies after they have been born? Why don't they care about all of the poor, innocent babies and kids who get abused in the foster system? They are not pro-life. All they care about is controlling women's bodies and sexual activities.
How often is someone charged and sentenced for fetal homicide?
Usually during a homicide that kills the pregnant woman during the third trimester when the fetus would be viable outside the womb. Or when someone kidnaps a pregnant woman who is close to her due date and tries to steal the fetus.

How often has that actually happened. I haven't been able to find much at all in the way of prosecuted fetal homicide cases.
"On Wednesday, Iowa legislators passed the "Heartbeat" bill, which would ban abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detectable. On Friday, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds (R) signed the bill into law."
“We’re not hiding that at all. A lot has changed since 1973, including Justices, and frankly, the Court got it wrong...”
Don't think it will be long now before Roe v. Wade will be overturned. A day to celebrate.
It is a 10th Amendment issue.
There is no authorization in the US Constitution, for the Federal Government to be involved.
Even the original woman has said she made a BIG mistake in getting an abortion and having the chance again would NOT do it.
People sometimes make the wrong choice for themselves and have to live with that, but it isn't an excuse to deny others the option of making their own choices.

Not very. I've read of a few cases like this, but they seem to be rare. I do recall a guy here locally who killed his pregnant wife and they threw the book at him, but let's face it... you kill your wife and unborn child and you won't get much sympathy.

Scott Peterson did that to his wife, and they finally caught him
