No you did not. You were basically talking about keeping them all together while they were here.

Why would I talk about splitting up a parent and child if the child is here alone? That would not make sense. There are many parents with kids who are not seeking asylum. They are trying to sneak in illegally. A number of them are those who came in here illegally. Not my fault that people are trying to muddy the water by lumping them in the same crowd as the asylum seekers, much like they like to muddy the water by calling them immigrants.

No legislation will be brought forward if they know they won't get 60 votes.

Please learn a few things about how the government works.

The situation doesn't need to be remedied. The illegal aliens are being treated exactly the same as US citizen law violators are treated: they're arrested and their kids are sent to Child Protective Services (etc.).

This is not about respecting the law, it is a tactic to scare immigrants. If people actually cared about the law they would defend ALL laws. How about stop pushing in other countries the criminal "war on drugs" destroying people's lives, or stop dropping thousand of bombs that create millions of refugees, or stop arming alqaeda and other terrorists that are starving the yemeni people and on and on.

Those laws don't count because they're part of "defending national interest" right? People just conveniently ignore them. Maybe if they stop, people could stay in their country which is where they want to live anyway.

But things are changing, thankfully. Getting better every day actually. The COL is still too high in many parts of the USA, but those big Trump raises coming down the pike should ease the burden for hard working Americans and their families.

America 1st is not just a slogan. It's a winning strategy to MAGA.
The thing is, I think they are realizing it. And it makes them more irrational and desperate all the time. Every accomplishment of Trumps, that makes things better for American citizens, is another nail in the coffin of the socialism that progressives want to sentence this country to. Americans saw what a disaster the 8 years of Obama were, and soundly rejected the policies and platform that was associated with that. Ones that put everyone on earth ahead of Americans. Policies that divided us by race by identity politics and played us against one another. Policies that put working people and business owners behind leaches and deadbeats. They are terrified at seeing those policies rejected and policies of prioritizing Americans working. They know their dream for a failed America and turning us into effectively a communist nation, is doomed.

Since you seem confused, I will repeat what I said...detain them here as a family if it is deemed that they shouldn't be given a court date and released and if their asylum petition is denied deport them as a family. It's really that simple.

No, it's the law. Furthermore, the illegal aliens are being treated exactly the same as US citizen law violators are treated: they're arrested and their kids are sent to Child Protective Services (etc.).

Because the US gave its word by treaty that they could do that once in country.
