I wonder why they aren't showing that paper, other than waving it around (which brought back images of Maddow waiving Trump's tax form). I went to look for it, hit CNN, NYT, etc., nothing. I did see a few mentions of 'Lafferty telling officers that they 'might' have to "hold mothers longer" and "hold children in HHR/ORR,"'. Is that supposed to be the "plans on separating migrant families" that they are talking about?

The parents of the children are the ones guilty of child abuse and criminal activity. Dragging their kids over foreign borders in violation of the law. Their kids should be stripped from them and placed up for adoption. Bad. Parents.

How about someone provide some statistics and references on kids being killed in those countries? And don't include the "kids" that are part of gangs and the ones doing the killing.
Why don't you prove they aren't being killed? You're the one disputing the statement.
Unless you are 118 years old or so, I would assume the same way anybody who has read or studied US history. Being American doesn't automatically mean you know more about your history than someone else. In other words, how do you know?
I've met non-Canadians who know more about Canada than I do.
I think a wall is too expensive. I do support border patrol and I am adamant that e-verify is the way to go and should be a federal policy, not just a state one.
I also think making it clear that form now on the practice of allowing folks who are identified as illegal being allowed to stay as long as they check in has to stop immediately. It should have stopped a long time ago.
I just don't think the wall is the right investment.
Considering how much money illegals and their offspring cost us, a wall is well worth the money.
Do you seriously think that the BP can stop every single illegal who tries to sneak in? If you do think that, think again. A few years back our daughter and son-in-law went to a BP hiring fair. The agent they talked to didn't mince words. They were told that if they were hired, they would be on the graveyard shift and be the only agent around for 70 miles. If backup was necessary, it wouldn't be coming anytime soon.
And, yes, once illegals are discovered, they all need to be deported immediately.
