Once again, this is people grasping at straws using religion and cherry picking bible verses to make a point.
Love one another as I have loved you is the crux of Christ's message. Tearing terrified children, who have most probably already been traumatized from the situation they and their families are fleeing, away from their parents is diametrically opposed to everything Christ preached.

But don't feel bad. You have a lot company in the ranks of pretend Christians.

Been posted numerous times in this thread. You choose to ignore it and yell louder.

Except that they chose the violence and invited the violence by adopting socialistic modes that inevitably and inexorably lead to societal destruction. You can't select bad leaders and systems on purpose, then run from them to areas that have made better choices and attempt illegal entry. The victims are to blame. If you create a sewer in your homeland, you should fix the sewer, not bring it to other countries. America has provided the role modelling. Get rid of your collectivistic left wing, adopt Capitalism, stress freedom, stress individual rights, stress individual private property rights, and stop creating welfare states that exist only temporarily until "other people's money" runs out.

In short, create a palace, rather than a hell hole, imitate America, not Greece. Then you won't have to flee your homeland.

And by the way, who chooses to bring kids into the world in a Venezuela? That in itself is child abuse.

Romans 13 was used by slave owners to keep slaves. It was used by german lutherans to follow the nazis. So what you are saying is that you would have led jews to the ovens because german authority said so.

Read Romans in its context. It is Paul advising to go along with government to avoid persecution. But nowhere does it say follow laws that would go against Jesus teachings.

That's the option. It's that simple.
I feel very neutral over this for several reasons. So your options are not sufficient.
An example:
Just like with Kim Davis thing in KY.
People attacked her for trying to stand up for her beliefs, they lost their minds....in the end she had to follow the law of the land. Now, it's a 180.

Absolutely, I agree. What Trump and Sessions are doing is disgusting.

Of all the nasty, racist, bigoted, offensive things Donald Trump has said or done as president, this is the worst.

Most republican politicians are scared to speak up against what Trump is doing, because they fear the backlash of Trump's cult. See: Mark Sanford.

Theres violence, gangs, rapes, and murder here as well. Some would argue it's the most violent and hateful, racist nation. And they want to come here?

Excellent point. The argument is that you must follow the law of the land. Sorry, Jews, the law of the land was that you must be gassed.

Nothing I, as a Christian, am called to do about it, because we must follow the laws of the land.

I'm sure their Christ will understand.

Lightbulb The tRump admin's border policy

They've reacted to reaction to their cruelty with various responses:

1) multiple tRump mouthpieces: "It ain't happenin'!"

2) Sessions: "The bible sez it's a good policy."

3) tRump: "The Dems are making me do it!"

Flip, meet flop.

Another layer of sewage in tRump's swamp.

Okay, well I guess for me as a non Christian, the idea of separating innocent children from parents who have travelled thousands of miles seeking asylum, is something I don't have to think hard about at all.

I guess we're all different.
