Government policies whether enacted through Congress or the Administration most certainly will effect both.

Fracking is replacing coal. Simple capitalism. Trump has nothing to do with it.
Under Obama the fracking industry expanded despite the administration policies. While fracking on private land boomed it was stagnant on federal land.

Obama deported far more per capita than Trump.
That largely depends on who you are counting. During the Obama administration they changed what was counted as a deportation. People that were crossing the border that were voluntarily deported immediately were not counted as deportations under Bush, the Obama administration changed that and started counting them as deportations. This led to a humorous situation where Obama was defending himself against people like yourself who were claiming he deported more people when it was just a different accounting method.

Why this is important to understand is because the amount of people crossing the border drastically changed almost immediately when Trump took office. Consequently people who are voluntarily deported has also decreased masking the increase in deportations of people already inside the country.

Under Obama, fracking expanded DESPITE historically low oil prices. If you look at heat-maps of oil production, it went to only the most productive wells. Drilling almost came to a stand-still, not because of (or in spite of) any policies, it was simply due to the price of oil, and the break-even point of producing. Only the most productive, uncomplicated wells were profitable at $40/BOE.

Don't thank or blame Obama for that. If anything, thank the covergent of OPEC policy to maintain production, pared with US innovation and our ability to respond to market conditions. Only a couple years earlier than the price-drop, most oil producers and especially most frackers, would say they would be losing money at $65/BOE, much less $40.

What is that? 1.5 a year? We've killed more of our own soldiers than that. (think friendly fire).

If we get involved in war over Syria I will agree with this topic. I'm not anti Israel but they need to check themselves, we can't let them pull us into a war over Syria, that place is of no significance to us.

I know having Barack Obama as President was scary to a lot of people, but was Bush's second term really that great?
wow, I think you overdosed on liberal media.
