Great News! Good for Santa Clarita! Good for California! Good for America!

Just another sign that not everyone in California or L.A is a nut that thinks we should ignore immigration law and protect criminals.

--
The city of Santa Clarita has become the first in Los Angeles County to break with California’s sanctuary state law. Emotions ran high at Tuesday night’s packed city council meeting, where 200 people reportedly signed up to make public comments. The meeting lasted into the early morning hours, as council members heard from community members over the issue.

Comments got heated at times, but when the council voted unanimously to file a brief to opt out of the sanctuary state law, the audience erupted into triumphant cheers.
Santa Clarita is the fourth largest city in mostly Democratic-leaning Los Angeles County. It’s the latest city to voice its support for the Trump administration’s federal lawsuit against California over the sanctuary state law.
Los Alamitos started the movement against SB 54 in March. Orange and San Diego County, and a handful of cities in Orange and Riverside counties, have followed suit.

The number of cities and counties rejecting the leftist-fanatic "sanctuary state" agenda is growing steadily.

And Democrats are starting to run out of excuses and lies such as "It's a conspiracy", "It's racist", "They were paid by the Koch brothers to do this".

Democrats seem to be doing everything they can to prevent the supposed "blue wave" they think is coming in November.

Keep up the good work, Demmies!

This never would've passed if the people had a say in it.

People realize it is an issue of safety and think the government should act to do their sworn duty for the citizen and not the criminals.
Democrats don't seem to understand that but they will. Like a puppy has to have his nose rubbed in it they will finally get a clue.

Good! I'm looking forward to other cities now having a backbone and following Santa Clarita in Los Angeles county. It's about time citizens stood up to Jerry Brown and his lunacy. Law abiding people don't want to put up with this crap from Sacramento unless of course you want cheap labor to mow your lawns and cook your dinner. The elitists that love illegals can certainly afford to hire people who are here legally to do those jobs.

Yeah most Americans including Dems don’t support sanctuary cities .

This is something pushed by politicians because they want the votes and want to remain in power .

They are willing to sacrifice public safety for their own selfish benefit .

They have the nerve to call people racists because they simply want laws enforced . Insanity really.

Even if you look back to Bill Clinton which wasn’t long ago he literally spoke about “illegal aliens “ and the harm they do .
The current Democratic Party has been taken over by far left radicals .

Good to see people standing up to this unconstitutional sanctuary state law.

Anyone who loves sanctuary states must enjoy MS 13 terrorizing their neighborhood.

Self preservation takes over, when common sense failed to be heard.
