I don't know how Starbucks is so popular though. Their drinks, even a simple hot cocoa that I asked them to not add any sweetener to, are so unbearably sweet that I physically cannot drink them.

Plus, if they went near a public toilet, there would be passersby who would gladly insert a dollar into the public toilet for them, even if they'd normally not want to give cash to the homeless under normal circumstances.
That's true.

That's why people are getting obese. I'm surprised the government hasn't stepped in and required Starbucks to put on their cups----"drinking this may make you obese."

Oh well. I just assume people spend their money however they want. When they start asking me to buy them beverages, then I will insert my nose.

You have to ask them to put less pumps of chocolate in one of those.

It's really easy to get a cocoa from there that's not too sweet if you know what they use to make it.

It's made with chocolate and with vanilla syrup.

Soo.... you need less of everything, not just what the barista probably thought.... which was not to add any sweetener, which they likely think of as simple syrup, and there is none of that in a hot chocolate.

Their cider, for example, has apple juice, cinnamon dolce syrup, AND a caramel drizzle. I have to order it with one pump of syrup in a grande (which I think is supposed to have SIX OF THOSE) and light on the caramel drizzle or I cannot drink it.

It's all in how you order. Most coffee drinks I order with half the usual pumps of syrup and no whip. I don't do whip.

homeless people everywhere rejoice.
You don't have to be homeless to need to go to the can.

Homeless people don't have cell phones and Ipods where I live.

Conservatives. They can't stop complaining about Starbucks yet they can't stop going there.

I can't count how many times I've driven up there over the past 20+ years and have to use the can so bad but can't find a restroom. So to the people living on the streets up there, it's got to be terrible having to go but not being able to find a legit restroom to use. And that's primarily the issue with Starbucks and their restrooms. There's virtually a Starbucks with a bathroom on nearly every other block up there and it's hard for someone that needs to go and knowing there's one there, not to be able to use it. To put it into perspective, I know of about 5 McDonald locations throughout San Francisco. But I also know about 20 Starbuck's locations throughout San Francisco. At one time, McDonalds had the most locations of any chain restaurant. Starbucks holds that title now, ten fold too.

Actually Subway holds the title for most locations of any chain restaurant in the world but they are starting to shut some of them down. A lot of Subways don't have public restrooms.

Seems like a lot of people don't respect property rights.

The two dudes kicked out should've had no recourse, as a business should be able to discriminate however they wish via free association.

On the flip side, all the right-wing SJWs seem to be upset with Starbucks exercising their property rights by having free restrooms.
