Okay, he does have a point. Once you’ve done your time, you still pay for it the rest of your life when people won’t hire someone with a record. I disagree with his statement that it’s due to racism. He did the crimes, so he can’t say he didn’t deserve the punishment.
I think he’s going to find out that Africa isn’t his home. That would be like me saying I’m going home to Ireland or Germany or wherever some of my ancestors came from. Not sure where they all came from, but those were the two major ones that showed up on my sister’s DNA test. I’ve never been to either country, so America is my home.
He is deflecting these newest charges by twisting the facts as if he is being punished again for the old crimes, not the new ones. Trying to make it look like whitey is out to get him. So he throws a tantrum, stomps his feet saying "If I don't get my way, I'm going to my room (Africa)".
But Africa is a huge continent. Does he have a nation picked out? And do they want him? Will they admit a criminal of his stature? They usually do have rules for immigration. Or will he keep trying until one of them says ok, if you give us enough money, lol.
I say, just let him go, and be someone else's problem. If they will take him. Maybe others of his ilk will follow him over there. Wherever "there" happens to be.
You have to love the arrogance of our crooked politicians. They not only have the nerve to get mad at the consequences for their criminal behavior, they paint themselves as victims.
It's like the news I read stating that Bill Cosby's wife is blaming the guilty verdict on racism. Morons.
So can I break all kinds of laws and then when I'm caught, threaten to go back "home" to Norway... expecting to get off the hook at the mere mention that I'm "going home"?
Is that sort of like the neighbor kid threatening to take his toys and go home?
he isnt going, he is just bloviating for the press to make some kind of splash.

well again it is chicago, if you want to run for public office, you have to be a democrat, and it helps a lot to have a criminal record.
