The only reason they lay claim to it now, is for purposes of divisiveness.
Correct, Jerusalem was the capital of the Jews long before Mohammed molested his first little girl.

The Act recognized Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Israel and called for Jerusalem to remain an undivided city. Its purpose was to set aside funds for the relocation of the Embassy of the United States in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, by May 31, 1999.

So, who was president in 1995?

I'm sure it's been brought up before....but, all trump did is follow the law the slick willie signed into law....

The part you left out if that POTUS can waive the move every 6 months. This is what Clinton, Bush and Obama did.

The purpose of the waiver was to delay moving the embassy until the peace was further along and to not flame the fans while major unrest existed.

And before that it was the capital of Jebusites. The city has changes owners 44 times, but most would agree it is known as the Jewish capital, the city of Joshua and David.

Trump also lost the leverage to get Israel to talk peace. You now have the Israeli Gov't. acting in an Fascist manner. They are not willing to allow citizens equal rights based on religion.

I see the walling in of the Palestinian areas very reminiscent of the walls around the Jewish Ghettos of Warsaw. They are limiting supplies and economic activity and blaming the people in those areas as the problem.

Actually given the history of Palestinians there, doing whatever it takes to kill Israelis like suicide bombers, stabbing citizens in the street indiscriminately, they are lucky Israel is as tolerant as it is towards them. Other countries would have rounded them up and exported them into the middle of the desert if need be just to be rid of them.

Israel planned to take more aggressive action today.

stop being an anti-Semite.

Israel was FORCED to be more aggressive in their action as the Palistinian authority planned this. They sent out 40,000 people to attack. They indended to overwhelm the boarder, cross into Israel and create mayhem.

two takeaways
1. Wall are wonderful.
2. Israel stopped an invasion.

On May 14, 2018, Israel and the Jews celebrate their 70th year back in their own land. This event was predicted by the prophet Ezekiel in chapters 36-37. In chapter 38 of Ezekiel, we see an attack that comes from the North by a confederacy of nations, including Iran.

If you think that Biblical prophecy is not relevant to the world, you are about to see just how important what God says He will do in the world, concerning Israel, is to every event of world history.

From the first prophecy in the Bible that God predicted in Genesis 3:15, to the final events of Revelation, chapter 22, all that was predicted before our current time, has come to pass, all that is yet to come, will be fulfilled.

So the problems of Israel not allowing the non-Jewish population to thrive results in the walling off and slowly trying to kill off a population is OK.

Its all economic. Stop taking away land and allow people to become citizens. Citizens with equal rights and the ability to live.
