In Leftist Utopia World it does.

What company in their right mind would choose to build a company in a Robber State?
What company in their right mind would choose to stay in a Robber State?

The Voters will get exactly what they voted for and then they will Whine-Whine-Whine when these Companies choose to leave and not pay the Penalties involved with hiring employees. Then the Whiners will demand a Nationwide Bailout for their Robber State Policy. It's the Leftists Way - let them stand or fall on their own Policy. No Bailouts for any of them when that Policy fails.
Seattle’s a city, not a state. If a company wanted to stay in Washington, they merely have to build outside the city limits. It seems like what happened to Detroit could happen there now. Do they think they can be the match that makes all the other areas of Washington follow suit? Why would they if money flows their way instead of to Seattle? I thought Washington was liberal, but business friendly.

Let’s hope they can vote out this city council member because she’s infecting the whole lot of them. She even makes a somewhat persuasive argument if you don’t know any better. I mean, where was she in the ‘90s when all those professional team owners were giving ultimatums on upgraded taxpayer funded stadiums or they’d take their teams to different cities? Now that’s holding a city hostage! We could have used her argument and passion then. But this is a business that employs a lot of people in the city, all paying property and sales taxes. Why would you want to drive them out?
