John Solomon broke the story on Fox but it's not posted on the Hill's website yet. Mueller may be tainted with conflict of interest. FBI approached Russian billionaire Daraposka re Manafort and Trump and Russian collusion. Iran has CIA agent Levinson which the Russian spent millions tried to rescue.

There's already a enough conflict of interest to go around in this sordid affair without going this far into the weeds. Mueller was appointed special counsel what, just one or two days after being rejected by Trump to replace Comey? Appointed by the person who AUTHORED THE MEMORANDUM firing Comey no less. Neither of those people should be involved in this carnival-show of an investigation.
I typed as fast as I could and got this, hopefully accurate:
Deripaska years ago spent millions to try to help rescue a former FBI/CIA agent Levinson who was held prisoner in Iran. There was a plane ready to pick him up but Iran wanted Sec of State Hillary to say Iran had nothing to do with his arrest but she wouldn't. So the man has probably died by now as he'd be 80.
Two months before the election, two FBI agents showed up at Deripaska's door. He had been in business with Manafort but they had a falling out so he sued him. They asked Deripaska if he thought Manafort was colluding with Putin to get Trump elected. He laughed and said it was absurd and no way was Russia using Manafort to help Trump. They told him to 'keep an open mind' and stay in touch. Later during this Mueller investigation Deripaska offered to testify but was turned down by Mueller. The NY Times falsely claimed he had wanted immunity but that wasn't true. Mueller didn't want him to testify. Mueller violated the law by using this guy's money for the rescue in a foreign country. Mueller also should have mentioned Derpaska in Manafort's indictment but didn't.
Daraposka was considered persona non grata with limited access into the US. If he'd have agreed to the collusion story, his problems would be over but he's still on a sanctions list.
Great investigative reporting and connecting the dots by John Solomon. He and Sara Carter have been on top of the FISA scandal and the FBI and DoJ's corruption for a year now while mainstream media was chanting Stormy Stormy Stormy.
Quite a reach, even for an opinion piece. It's no wonder Solomon is a hit with Hannity. I expect the next few days will be a lot of talking points around this from the far right.
Deripaska was the one who approached the FBI because he wanted an entry visa to the US, and he was bluffing, and the FBI terminated the deal.
The premise of this oped boils down to Mueller once ran the FBI, anything that the whole FBI worked on during while Mueller was running things is now a conflict of interests because we said so.
John Solomon is also the one who pushed the whole Uranium One B.S. This all reads like something to just muddy the waters.

The actual Russian Collusion occurred between the Obama Administration led by Hillary, our intelligence services, and actual Russians to fabricate a Russian Collusion Delusion against Trump....this is ongoing operation.
