These people were simply not prepared, they were used to being criminals who got away with it because nobody was watching and there was nobody to lodge a complaint.

Then they won.

They did not expect to win, because if they did they would have done a vastly better job covering their tracks.

He has lied lied lied that he did not know of the meeting.

He has tried to cover up the meeting and claim it was for something else.

He clearly was part of an attempt to collude with Russia to win the election by obtaining and encouragement of dirt against Clinton .
