So it's an anecdote? Would it be like me saying that over 1/3 of households that home school children have reports of abuse or domestic violence? What do you make of that?
How in the world is this beneficial to anyone? All students are cheated by an uneven playing field. Future employers are cheated because they can't accurately assess potential hires. And the public is cheated when an unqualified person, who you believe to be in that position on merit, performs a service for you.

Aggression, discrimination (which when codified is aggression), and collectivism (which is also aggression when codified) S-U-C-K.
There's nothing wrong with being vigilant in calling out these things when they occur. Even for people like me who live in the Fake World.
Why does it matter if it's only one professor? If it's wrong, it's wrong, whether it's one professor or 90+% of them. Sure it's one prof, but nobody has said otherwise have they? They've merely argued that such a practice is wrong, not that it's pervasive.
BTW it's anecdotal, and it was longer ago than I care to admit, but there are at least TWO professors who have done this. I forget the prof's name and I wouldn't name her if I remembered (I'm not sure she's even still teaching), but I had a female professor for a sociology class. She pretty much came right out and said that no white males would be getting any grade higher than a "B". The coursework included quite a few essays that were subjectively graded, so she pretty much told us she'd be able to defend the grade she gave if anyone made a fuss. It was an elective for me, and I did get a B, so I personally didn't make a fuss. I just went along with it and got through the class.
We've had threads before about the low frequency of blacks and women in some college teaching positions but the reason is that there are a disproportionately high frequency of Asians in those positions.
Perhaps next time the professor could just quit their job if they want to help make the world more equitable?

Ha!
Good point. He's going to affirmative action his own butt out of a job!

Re: bold
Folks around these parts aren't too big on individuals having rights. You don't complain until you reach a certain set percentage in their minds.
Keep it in mind if you want to rob a bank. If it's under X amount of money the folks around here may let is slide.
