Cons love to type out the word 'vagina' whenever possible. Just review the thread. OR - review some old Hillary threads from the campaign.

You should know by now No Recess isn't a con. He's an anarchist like me.

In today's universities all you have to do is identify as a vagina and they will be obligated to give you higher grades just to keep you from wetting your panties.

Speaking as a female -- school was always easier for girls -- always.

I'm 59 and knew when I was in Kindergarten I had it better than the boys.

Stupid crud like this not only benefits no one in reality, but it gives fuel to the fire of right-wing extremists who hold nutjobs like that professor up as "examples of what all liberals want." We don't, of course, but facts take a backseat to partisan politics.

Of course, if the situation had been reversed, and men were being given higher grades, it wouldn't have made the news, certainly wouldn't have made this forum, and even if it had somehow, we'd be getting countless posts about how calling the professor out is just "liberal whining" or some idiocy.

Extremists like the one in the OP's post don't help anyone.

People in STEM, above all else, should understand the importance of "just the facts".

Not unless you think taking 550 mgs of something over 5.50 mgs of it is no big deal.
Exactly. The laws of physics don't care about your politics.

That being said, the far-right, who tends to support everything from Young Earth silliness, to no vaccinations, to assuming diseases only kill the poor, isn't exactly in a position to talk down to others about putting the truth before politics... Still, grading people differently based on anything but the facts is just WRONG, regardless of one's political leanings.

I guess you weren't playing dumb.
I am saying that it wasn't so long ago that men had the advantage over women and it didn't seem to bother you men one bit...

It will never work.
A girl must have the same chances to develop their interest in the technical fields much earlier in life to ever succeed. Giving them any preference in college is far too late in their development.

If girls need extra attention and help, it has to happen early, in the first years of grade school. Well before adolescence, when all little kids are equally curious and haven't been firmly set into their sexual and societal sets of rules yet. that's the time when any child, male or female, profits the most from extra attention in learning the most difficult concepts- language and mathematics.

Those early grades are also the time when those basics are the easiest to absorb, once learned. Everything that follows is built on those basics.
