Yet another thread from people with a high school education living in the middle of nowhere but trying to feel superior due to cheap cost of living.

You’re still in a double wide in the middle of nowhere.

Very interesting article and yet so many in the politics section on this board continue to argue for more power to the wealthy more tax cuts fewer regulations. Its almost as if the natural state of lightly regulated capitalism is a return to feudalism.
But, but, but...I thought Trump's tax cut was going to put more money back into everyone's pockets and save help MAGA!

No, Trump's worried about bailing out a Chinese company ZTE to save thousands of CHINESE jobs.

#MAGA

There are a FINITE amount of good jobs this lie that everyone can win big is absurd which is why programs need to be in place to prevent poverty from becoming to horrible. Most advanced countries have figured this out but the backwards United States drags its feet and slowly starts to get left behind.

Tens of THOUSANDS HAVE gotten out of poverty.

Why have the rest of them?

Free education through high school, food stamps, welfare, EITC, etc.

They have been GIVEN a GREAT opportunity and have wasted for the most part.

if you aren't at least in part blaming illegal immigration and legal immigration policy that lets in a large number of unskilled workers then you are part of the problem.
