Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS, acting as a proxy for the Clinton campaign swore under oath that the FBI had a mole inside the Trump campaign.
My suspicion is it's Carter Page. Carter Page worked for the Bill Clinton campaign, has a resume any spy would be proud of (Navy intelligence, UN intelligence, Georgetown, Council on Foreign Relations, etc) & was working undercover for the FBI from 2012-2016 on a case against Russian spies. He testified against them, leading to their convictions & 30 days later he popped up in the Trump campaign.
That said, the FBI broke the law in order to conjur up the 'dossier' to use against Trump, the CIA absolutely used a spy to frame Trump associates in order for the FBI to launch the counter-intel investigation, etc. Since the CIA & FBI were sharing the spy, it's semantics.
This is all left wing spin designed to soften the blow of the IG report that's about to be released. It's transparent and no one outside the left wing echo chamber is buying it.
The Democrat lead in the midterms has evaporated, Trump's approval ratings are climbing, the Russian-collusion narrative is losing support & trust in the left wing media is at historic lows. Steele voluntarily went to the FBI when he thought Trump might be a candidate for blackmail, not the other way around. The only reason they listened to him in the first place was that they already had some of the informaiton Steele was giving them in their files from other sources.
