We had a problem, when government started to systematically disarm the public. Now it is a tragedy.
This crap didn't happen, when more people had guns. Only the disarmed are ever massacred.

When did government disarm anyone. If anything they gave them more rights to carry.

Well, checkout this disgrace

Laws Designed To Disarm Slaves, Freedmen, And African-Americans

That doesn't even include the Supreme Court rulings right after the Civil War, only recently overturned.

Like the wild west movies I used to watch? Lead flying everywhere???? Sounds like a place I would love to live... I told everyone before many times. You want to have gun control start having the "boys in the hood" open carry . Bunch of black guys with guns strolling through your gated neighborhood would sure spur the debate. Lol.

Well, we did or thought we did in Uvalde. Didn't work, did it?

Oh no! I'm not looking forward to hearing on the news about the latest US gun battles in the classroom with the children in between. Is turning your schools into prisons for kids really the answer! The US is turning into an awful place to live. Its terribly sad, who loses the most? The kids of course.

Agreed, especially if it doesn't create safety. The guard either leaves the post or is shot out of the way! For my more recent thinking see Lots of Security Theater; Little Actual Security. Bottom line; these measures make us feel safe. As we learned at Parkland and Uvalde, where the officer "SWAT" teams don't materialize because the officers are not about to enter a free-fire zone and die in the process, this is theater, not security.

But concerts, schools, movie theaters, churches have little to no security which makes it an easy target for mass shooters.

Maybe it's time we need more armed guards or more open carry permits.

Better yet do away with school and buses. Lets save the tax payer billions.
