I could see it being good or bad. If it highlights some Ethiopian immigrant who started a successful business or something, it could be watchable. On the other hand if the "inspiring" story is some genderfluid raising awareness to de-stigmatize STDs or something then add it to the trash heap.

Trump is making money hand over fist supposedly
He certainly hadn't done anything for Chicago or Africa or even Appalachia...

President Obama is half white as was his mother and grandparents who raised him.

What makes you think he won't talk about that?

People go to Netflix and Hulu to escape the real world, not to have real world issues drowned into their entertainment.
No YOU don't want political slanted entertainment.

Netflix audiences are as varied as we all are.

Some only watch documentaries, some romantic comedies, some British dramas, some indie films.

So because YOU don't want political content -- doesn't mean there isn't a market for it.

Default Obamas Promise To Donate All Proceeds From Multimillion-Dollar Book, Netflix Deals To Combat Wealth Inequality--LOL

Obamas Promise To Donate All Proceeds From Multimillion-Dollar Book, Netflix Deals To Combat Wealth Inequality

WASHINGTON, D.C.—"Barack and Michelle Obama have committed to donate all of the money they are slated to receive as part of their recent multimillion-dollar book and Netflix deals to combat wealth inequality in the nation, the celebrity politician couple announced Monday."

Of course, this is satire. How could it be anything else?

Yes it will but for the most part, Trump voters are older than the Netflix generation; they are tied to Fox News 24/7. They rarely go to movies because "they stopped being good when John Wayne died!". All the right wing blogs crying won't make a bit of difference and Netflix has already figured that out. Republicans can satisfy their need for entertainment with Roseanne and Last Man Standing; odds are the ratings on both of those will go down too.
