Whether you voted for Trump, Kasich, Hillary, Bernie, or not at all....every American should be worried about this.

To avoid Scott Pruitt being asked tough questions, the EPA banned the Associated Press, E&E Environmental news, and CNN from attending the briefing.

"Guards barred an AP reporter from passing through a security checkpoint inside the building. When the reporter asked to speak to an EPA public-affairs person, the security guards grabbed the reporter by the shoulders and shoved her forcibly out of the EPA building."

Well that just speaks to their incompetence. If you can't handle press -- why are you in that job.

New lows every day.

Wow. Totalitarianism, here we come. Next this administration will require a signed promise that a reporter will only write positive things and/or ask softball questions that were submitted and approved ahead of time, or they will have their credentials revoked.

This is a very disturbing precedent being set here.

Those news agencies have not been precluded from printing whatever they want thus the first amendment has been preserved.

Because you were appointed by someone who can't handle the press.

But if you deny them access to govt. briefings -- you are limiting who can report on those briefings. If that doesn't bother you -- it proves your hypocrisy.

This isn't a private party -- this is OUR government and no press should be denied access.

With all due respect, you have no idea what you talking about. If Donald Trump did not allow them to report on this, or took over their actual networks and television stations like they did in Venezuela, you know that socialist bastion that you leftists love, then you have Freedom of Press issues. They don't have a right to be present everywhere. But they can still report on it and hate him as much as they always have and you guys do.

Trump sees all press as being his PR puppets. He only wants them to market his brand, promote his image. When they don't, he cries fake news.
