Whats appalling is that he doesn't comprehend that the majority of those who are employable and receiving food stamps actually DO have a job.

I know people who sell food stamps to buy diapers. Its not that they have too much in food stamps, its that they have a greater need for diapers.

BTW-used to be that people got a LOT more in food stamps. Not as much now-its why I challenge people to go look.

And I know a lot of people who sell FS for cigarettes, beer, gas, lottery tickets, etc. and they also get food from the various food banks and churches. I've had people give me food because they had too much.

One person-192/month
two persons-352/month
three persons-504/month
four persons-640/month

So the real problem is food banks.

Because the food banks are over providing to those who arent as in need. meanwhile those who are in need are trying to make it off the amounts you list. And thats the VAST majority of those receiving food stamps.

But maybe you are right, we should judge groups by their minorities. Republicans are all obviously nazis, guns absolutely need to all be seized, etc etc. Sound like nonsense? So is this thread.

Bread and milk (obviously soda) are all nutritionally unnecessary.

Rice
Beans
Fresh whole fruits and veggies (or frozen)
Bottled water or water purifier
Canola or olive oil
Plain nuts
Canned sardines
Herbs and spices
Reasonable condiments (vinegar and mayo, not cheese spray)

That should be it.

I'm well off, and this is basically my diet, and I'm find with it.

Quite the contrary.

I like not paying people to eat themselves into needing yet MORE of my tax dollars for a gastric bypass later on.

That would mean it involves effort on the deadbeats part. Don’t see that happening while idiots willfully hand money out. Turn the tap off. Hunger is a great motivator.

Oh please. thats not your concern at all. If it was you'de be all about teaching people to be healthy and to eat healthy.

But the same folks going on about this are also the same subset of folks who freaked out about Michelle Obama trying to do that.

While you specifically may not have, you know im right. You can couch it how you want, but its nonsense.
