I don’t think there’s much doubt that Russia interfered and caused more dissent and acrimony than they ever hoped, but it’s tough to objectively quantify the result and definitively conclude that it swung the election.
Say what you want about Daily Beast but Mr. Clapper is experienced, knowledgeable and credible on the matter. The ONLY reason the right wing trashes him is because he dares to speak the truth about Trump's Russia ties.
How many times do we have to do this? Clapper is a proven partisan liar. His lie's have done great harm to this country and he should be in prison. He is a pile of............... nothing he says should be given a seconds of consideration.

I a not right wing and I do NOT understand how anyone that is not can still defend a guy that lied to the country under oath about the government spying on the citizens of this country.

The greater truth is that he Democrats and their further-Left allies were turned out in 2016 because a larger, somewhat less-educated, but far less-coddled segment of the population recognized the truth in spite of the sugar-coated lies of Obama and the Clintons.

True, quantification of what the election might have been without Russian interference is impossible. However, the "drip drip drip" of WikiLeaks caused a steady erosion of Clinton's numbers in the polls and helped get Trump close enough to eke out his close win.
