Elon Musk wants to rate journalists. He'd call his site 'Pravda'

Good intentions. Respect Musk alot. But this will just lead to things like “I rate this article one star because it fails to align with my train of thought!!”

A problem with such a ratings site is that a person who disagrees with a journalist's views, even when the latter writes fact-verified stories and tries to present it a somewhat balanced manner, might still say the journalist is bad at being a journalist.

I saw that recent tweet on Twitter about Elon Musk's plan and the replies will give fuel to the conspiracies theories.

This is more of a Silicon Valley Billionaire thing - who doesn't want public scrutiny for their actions, and therefore accountability.

Along with Musk's moves, we saw that with Peter Thiel going after Gawker, when he helped bankroll Hulk Hogan's lawsuit against them.

Not really surprising given that Musk and Thiel were partners in PayPal and are still pretty tight.
