“The infant has to die.
This Court states he’s unwanted – 'just
By choice'. Don’t question why!
Pro-Choice now slays him and his kind

Who’ll name the unnamed innocents
They slaughtered through this land?

Your not still going on about Alfie Evans - he wasn't murdered he was terminally ill.

Rather ironically stem cell research and the use of embryos might offer some hope in the future in relation to nuerodegerative diseases.

(BTW, as far as I'm concerned, Roe vs. Wade is a violation of OUR 8th Amendment, plus it violates the 14th Amendment (ironic, I know!) because I don't consider five robed tyrants issuing a ruling like they are gods (they are not!) as "due process of law".)
Roe v Wade has nothing to do with Ireland.

Indeed women from Ireland currently just take a short flight flight or ferry to England in order to get an abortion. So they have abortions any way and the new laws will just save them from having to take a short flight.

Unfortunately, progressivism won this round.

America is going to be left in the dust both culturally and environmentally, while other countries get on with the future.

These luddites dragging us backwards are so tiresome.

Who is trying to control women in Ireland ?

The Catholic church still has a firm grasp on the people and culture of Ireland and that is why abortion, which many believe is an act against God is so controversial and is against the law but Ireland is changing as evidenced by the vote to approve abortion.

My mother in law is old school and believes that abortion is a terrible sin until my wife asked her how would she feel about it if she was laying on a gurney dying and she could be saved if the dead baby inside her was removed.. which was the case that led to this vote.

My wifes nieces aged 21 to 30 also do not believe in abortion but they do agree that in some cases it is necessary especially when it comes to saving the life of the mother.

I don't know who the "luddites" are that are dragging us backwards but in Ireland the church is still very much intertwined with the socialist government.

In this case of abortion rights America is way ahead of Ireland.

No one should be able to make a decision about a woman's body except herself.

Legalizing abortion in Ireland is not going to bring healing to anyone abused by Catholic clergy or nuns in that country.
