Guess women get pregnant by themselves? So how many kids do you have? Hope you only had sex that many times. What a nutty post.

To think, they actually put self-ownership up for a vote.

I was just shy of three years old when Roe vs. Wade passed, but growing up in a very Catholic-dominant community, it was *still* a source of heated debate (complete with commercials and all) several years afterwards. I was probably six when I saw one of those commercials and asked my dad what abortion was, and he explained it. So my response was, "Then it's bad?"

My dad's response was, "Let me put it this way--the Democrats might be wrong for being okay with abortion, but the Republicans only want you to be born so they can starve you to death." This went over my head at that age, but in later years, I came to understand that what he meant was so far as he was concerned, *neither* side had high moral ground in that debate.

Exactly.

Democrats roll out the red carpet for illegals because they want more voters.

Conservative churches benefit from forcing women to have more births, especially poor women, because it means more bodies to fill the churches (meaning getting more of that delicious tithing money).

Both "sides" want more bodies. The Dems just take the carrot approach, the (religious) Republicans take the stick approach.

Seriously. If any kid had parents that were controlling to the degree that the government controls adults, they'd run away from home.

What is sick is having old white men telling young women what they can and can not due to and with their own bodies.

Indeed, there is nothing commonsense about that. Barbarism won out.
