Amazing, isn't it, that such an order would be met with objection?
The way to address is it is NOT with an Executive Order. In large part they can even be ignored as by the time it makes it way through the system the one who wrote it is gone.
As I said, they are for the lazy (which is really ironic here). A president who passes one is doing so for two reasons. The first is because they are too lazy to put in the effort to get something officially passed and the second is so they can claim to have done something when in the end, they have done very little.

I see firsthand what is accepted behavior for government "workers." The worst comes from the teleworking policies, with some agencies allowing employees to "work" from home 4 days a week. They spend their telework days running errands, lying out by the pool, going to the golf course, in the movies. (I know because I see them, and they freely tell me. One neighbor even asked if i wanted to take a drive to a town about an hour away to go outlet shopping, but asked if we could go on Tuesday or Thursday because those are her telework days, and this way she wouldn't have to take annual leave!) Oh, the stories I could tell you......
Anecdotal evidence is poor evidence. It's really quite lazy.
Another excellent executive order on the books. Removing government inefficiencies and bureaucracy one step at a time. Well done.
I echo your sentiments, and concur with President Trumps action totally. As one who served uniformed and un-uniformed, the latter is chock full of slackers.
