You have no interest because you lost the debate. Democrats and Liberals weigh the situation emotionally, based on how they feel disregarding the facts they don’t like. In this case where a woman lied and a liberal BLM activists didn't even bother looking at facts before pushing hate based on a lie. You're out of luck, you can't debate because neither the facts and emotions are not on your side.... so now you call it hyperbole (disregard for the facts you don't like)
If Democrats and Liberals didn't weigh a situation based on emotion HATE wouldn't be such an important emotion for them and the media wouldn't push the emotion so hard.

"We know this decision will frustrate many in the public who have called for criminal charges," it continued. "We share the public's frustration."
It also said the claims "did not create a situation, either real or false, in which there was imminent danger of serious bodily injury or imminent danger of damage or destruction to property."
In an accompanying statement, Ellis County District Attorney Patrick Wilson criticized those who used Dixon-Cole's claims to "ignite flames of malice and discontent" on social media, calling it "the real harm in this case."
She is NOT going to "face charges" ...... not only that, but the DA says the "real harm" is by those who criticized the FALSE claims of Assault and Rape. I would point out that the Ellis County DA is an elected position ...... this is what people VOTE in favor of. IF the trooper had not been wearing a Body Camera to have PROOF of the False claims -- you can take it to the bank that he would have been suspended and worse.

The woman who lied about the police attacking her should be charged. So should any other person who lies and gets a person in trouble with the law, including police.
Turns out it all a matter of Criminal Code at the State Level.
This sort of thing can be fixed by the State Legislators.
The Officer's only recourse would be a Civil Suit ....... we already know how that turns out.
