Me too. But before everyone assumes this is "bad personal financial budgeting" some other numbers need to be substracted from the 40%. 14% of americans live in poverty for instance.
Well that is a fair point.
But I am not talking about those truly in poverty. That is a different and age old subject.
Discussing nearly half of a population is casting a very, very wide net. I focused on one sector.
So someone has a bad credit score they're the same as an ex-con? Got it.
Your arguments get more ridiculous by the minute.
Talking about ridiculous, it's your post!
I said someone has a bad credit score is not a marriage material for me or someone I want to have children with.
If you want marry that person, go right ahead. Just don't come back and cry when that person spends all your money and incurs a bunch of debt for you and your hungry babies.
And don't you force me to pay for your child care if you can't afford to raise them either.
The local channels and a library card work for me.
And there is always City Data.
I can't get them like I said earlier. I already tried. All I get is MPT and a Japanese channel and it's supposed to be at least 50 mile range so I just sent it back for a refund. I figured that when we're not eligible for satellite so I don't know why I even bothered.

Well that's still ridiculous but it's your choice. I can't even check my credit score (they always say it's free but then they tell you it's not accurate) but I'm pretty sure it's bad partially because of my student loans and I had a late payment on my credit card which was not my choice. It wasn't even my idea to get a credit card in the first place. I'm sure you make one mistake and your credit's already affected.
I probably wouldn't because the type of guys I'm into tend to be financially successful but if they fell on hard times I'd still want to be with them because they are still the same person.

One late payment on credit card doesn't affect the credit score. Don't be so sure about things.
The financially successful people care about their credit scores very much, and they ensure the people they marry are equally successful or at least have good scores. They also take steps to ensure they will never fall back to poverty. They are financially successful for a reason.
The sad part is that most financially successful people fail to instill their financial disciplines into their children. Very often, their children would squander their wealth away.

You don't need to explain yourself to these people. They're irrelevant. Not to mention they're lying.

What about the student loans? I've had a few times that I got a notice for being late..just got one because apparently my income no longer qualifies.
Also how do you know? There seems to be no way to get an accurate credit score for free.

Oh I know. It's the Aquarius in me that does anyway. I don't always ignore ignorance. They probably are lying though. Why would they be on City Data arguing about this if they're financially successful? I just take them at their word in case they are not.
Find another thread. Perhaps there is one that will walk you through 3rd grade mathematics.
Why would I find another thread?
