I don't think it ends with Gowdy but it should. Gowdy made it very clear that there is nothing and that reveals that Trump is purposely misleading his base.
But we all kind of knew that.
I don't support Gowdy. Or not support him. But I was interested to hear his perspective.
And there was no big sweeping movement that won Trump the election. He didn't win the popular vote. So it is a bit naive to claim that voters were so dissatisfied with the status quo....because most voters -- still voted for a highly flawed Democratic candidate. He won in some states by a very small margin -- but big enough to win the state and get the electoral college. Yes -- a win is a win.
you are right -- nothing will shake the base but the base did not win the election for Trump.
The swing voter did and they will swing the other way as easily as they swung his way.
Dismissing Gowdy though -- works for the base but not for the swing voters who aren't attached to the Republican party or any party.
I doubt many swing voters know who Trey Gowdy is, let alone will be swayed one way or another by his opinion.
Gowdy supported Rubio and like some other R's aren't exactly great supporters of Trump the individual.
CNN and CBS reported that Gowdy didn't see the actual documents requested.
imo, the IG reports will be far more important than anything Gowdy says.
You are making a claim that is contradicted by all the reporting.
So...your claim is refuted by all the current reporting, but you insist you are correct.
OK, got it.
I have provided source after source after source and you refuse to acknowledge you were wrong ,yet I have proven you were wrong over and over . You tell us what Trey Gowdy said ?
Please provide us verifiable evidence that the DOJ turned over the unredacted documents that the House Intel Committee has been requesting.
I haven't seen any confirmed reports that the DOJ turned over the documents.
In fact, the reporting has been that the DOJ did not turn over the unredacted documents.
There has been no evidence provided to prove there was no wrongdoing.
You can be sure Nunes would still be screaming bloody murder if he wasn't satisfied with the documents. I've not heard a peep from him.
