I work in a law firm and we must have 15 shredders in the firm. 60 employees and about 15 shredders.
Sorry but a lawyer having a shredder is not suspect. Actually, it would be suspect for a lawyer or law firm not to have a shredder.
Every office has shredders they use to shred sensitive documents. Probably nothing to be concerned about.
But couldn't help but point out that while you may actually work in a law firm, it appears Cohen likely does not. Out of more than a million documents, only about 250 might possibly be protected under attorney-client privileged communication.
While this is not definitive evidence, it does point out that the majority of work product in his office has nothing to do with attorney-client business.
Pssst... Today in court, Judge Wood pulled Avenatti's pants down and gave him a spanking. Avenatti withdrew his motion to appear before the court!
If that's how you want to look at it, I hope it brings you solace.
The truth is, let me use a phrase you're familiar with: It's a nothingburger.
The judge told Avenatti that he can't represent Stormy in this case and keep talking to the media.
Cohen said; Ok, I'm going to keep talking to the Media, and I'll file to represent Stormy when I'm done.
Avenatti obviously feels like he's got some big news coming that he wants to discuss with the press, that's probably bad news for Trump, as Avenatti has destroyed everybody that Trump puts opposite him.
When he's done with the press, he'll jump back on as Stormy's lawyer.

I work for lawyers and we have a duty to shred documents. We can’t just throw them away.
I earlier this year shredded dozens, (eh, maybe hundreds), of pieces of paper related to more than 8 year old tax filings. That was so exciting, all of that "evidence", shredded. Meh, twas the prudent thing to do.

I would imagine most of the 1.3 million items are shredded pieces of paper. I wonder how many pieces of paper one need to shred to make up that many pieces.
This is all just a phishing expedition to get Trump. Trump had 500 entities of course he did something wrong along the way.
