Since the whole incident is already known, I will go ahead and put this out here - for the purpose of bringing to light what is going through these kids' heads.
There are numerous issues swirled up into a toxic mental mess.
- Exposure to adult life situations without the maturity to handle them properly
- Recipient of bullying
- Access to weaponry
- Low self esteem
- Desire for fame and power
- Lack of parental awareness
The first one and the last one are the important ones to me.
The thing about it is that he has no idea what he has really done. At some point when he grows up, it will hit him - and unless he is psychopathic, this will hit him like a ton of bricks.
